Western Canada Theatre has enjoyed a long relationship with the Kamloops Wine Festival as a beneficiary and supporter of this beloved community event. Western Canada Theatre has been bringing people together through exceptional artistic and cultural experiences. As the largest professional theatre company between Vancouver and Calgary, WCT produces and presents a season of plays and musical featuring some of the best performers and creative minds from across Canada. These artists come to Kamloops to work alongside local talent and WCT's full-time staff of local administrators, builders, and designers. WCT has been a part of the fabric of this community for over 50 years and, in addition to creating live theatre, they produce community events and foster imagination, confidence, and health through their Stage One Theatre School classes for young people and Next Stage adult theatre classes.
